THE WASTED HOUR
Neuer Wall 42
20359 Hamburg
On 9 June 2022, two startups from Hamburg, Ain’t No Trash und The Wasted Hour, open their joint pop-up store at Neuer Wall 42 in the context of the project “Frei_Fläche” (“free space”) of the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft (an organisation supporting Hamburg’s creative professionals).
Diversity, mindful curation, and sustainability instead of mass production lie at the heart of both companies – they tell the stories behind their products and strive to inspire others. For us initiators, personally and physically experiencing our products is crucial, and we’re convinced: Hamburg is ready for a new shopping concept!
For a place that combines vintage design furniture and fashion. For an individualised, exclusive collection and a sustainable shopping experience.
For a concept that brings the flair of hip, edgy neighbourhoods to Hamburg’s city centre.
Ain’t No Trash represents sustainability and design. Since its establishment in 2020, Linda Käckermann carefully selects rare vintage design furniture from aesthetic movements like the Space Age, mid-century, and Bauhaus for the Ain’t No Trash Studio.
The Wasted Hour is a concept store and magazine. Founded by Martin Hufnagel in 2018, the digital store is a place for special, selected, and sustainable fashion. The magazine additionally presents selected labels in depth – in the form of written articles and a podcast.
